Visual identity, seen as a process, refers to the whole creation of primary elements belonging to the brand, meaning the ensemble of graphic symbols – fonts, combinations of forms and colors, accents and proportions, images – that will represent the brand in any of its communication. The combining of the elements considered defining for the brand represents the systematic, unique and distinctive identity of the brand. The visual identity refers to all the visual elements that are used by an observer to recognize a brand. In this respect, the process of building the visual identity of the brand intends to create the whole system of ground brand elements: logo, typography, colors, forms, proportions, images.
