Brand protection is an activity that must evolve permanently and at all levels, starting with the investigation of the availability of a new brand and its registration, and ending with the monitoring of possible opportunities of threatening coming from the brand itself, the competition or consumers, in each stage of brand evolution. Brand protection refers to two major aspects. On one side, the investigation of brand availability and registration, and solutions for the resolving of legal threatening coming from the competition, partners or contractors, media or consumers; on the other side, the monitoring of other threatening, coming from market fluctuations, marketing unsubstantiallity, or brand communication, or from changes in consumers behaviour.
